Well we went down the good ole Stu. We got into some rainbows the first day lot of 14-16 inch fish as we moved down river boy did the fish get bigger. We caught lots of big sockeye that were nice and colored up and some big chum salmon as well. We even caught 2 rainbows over the 21 inch range as well, which is really big for this river. We did have some hook ups on some big king salmon on the fly rod but weren’t able to bring the big toads to the net. Weather was another tough week though as it rained about every day and was pretty windy as well. We fought through it and took advantage of the nice weather to get out and fish hard. We put another great trip in the Books for the 2022 season.
