Moraine Creek Aug. 5-9 Wow what a trip we had this week in the Katmai Preserve. Instead of a float trip we had one of our amazing camping trips. We had 3 fishermen in camp and did they crush the fish. We caught the biggest fish of the year coming in at 29.75 inches just a toad of a fish. The weather was rough we dealt with rain everyday which was a change from the early trips but it didn’t affect the fishing as we averaged 10-20 fish a day per person and they were all big. Not lots of fish in the 20-24 inch range. Most were 24-28 inches and they fought hard. First Day big fish 29.75 inch Rainbow Beautiful Moraine Creek Rainbow
