Well we switched back to American Creek for our final 2 trips of the year and wow what trips they turned out to be. There were thousands of Salmon in the river spawning and that led to hungry rainbows. We caught lots of Char and rainbows in the upper section of the river but the big fish didn’t appear till we hit the middle stretch and boy did it go crazy. We hooked up on lots of big fish but weren’t able to land any of the giants unfortunately. Each group though landed a fish over the 28 inch range. We also had lots of bear encounters and thankfully all they wanted were the fish and we got some good photos. The first trip we landed over 300 fish between 4 fisherman and the 2nd group we landed about 250 between 4 fisherman all of them powerful and strong fish.
