Fishing was solid this week, there were thousands of sockeye salmon in the river and they were staging to lay their eggs. Funnel Creek fished poorly all the trout were in the main system of the river. We ended up camping on the big bend below funnel and the bears were everywhere. We had bears walking 10 yards from our cook tent but never had an issue with any of them. Our big fish for the week was 26 inches and we hooked a little over 200 fish through the trip.

Wow what a week weather was rough it was raining just about everyday on the trip. The bears were out in force we woke up one morning and were able to see over 10 bears right around our camp. Fishing was good as well the bead drop started to happen and we got into fish when the rods were in the water. This week ended up being more of a bear viewing week saw a bear named Flapjack that we have been seeing for 4 years straight. Largest fish was 27 inches and we hooked 300-400 fish between 6 fisherman.
