Trip Options
Our trips run between 5 days 4 nights up to 6 days 5 nights. We also can customize a trip to you personally. Our trips are for the avid fly fisherman, or a novice fisherman, those looking for world class experiences with bears and those looking to experience a premier Alaskan wilderness adventure. We work with everyone to customize their trip so that it’s a trip of a lifetime.
Why choose a Float Trip vs a Lodge!
No one likes a crowded river where you are combat fishing trying to find elbow room to cast, especially when you come to Alaska. Gain the space you need by floating these select remote Alaskan rivers. The lodges in Alaska all go to the same spots we try and get away from where those lodges go too.
Don’t leave the river till your ready, our guests fish as late as they want whether that is Noon or midnight. This gives you all the time to catch all the fish you need until your arms are sore from casting and reeling in these trophy trout that live in these pristine waters. We aren’t beholden to an airplane schedule and need to be back to the lodge by 3 or 4 in the afternoon. So come fish for all the hours of the day because the sun doesn’t set on us!
Weather is a uncontrollable variable in Alaska. When you float these rivers, you will have an advantage because you don’t need to access the river daily by plane. This allows you to be the only people on the river when others are unable to fly. Also it enables you to take breaks when needed or to catch a mid-day nap because your warm sleeping bag is usually a short walk away.
Experience Real Alaska! Instead of staying in a lodge where you take day excursions into the Alaskan Wilderness, you will get to experience what Alaska has to offer. You will see more wildlife while sitting in camp rather than in a large lodge, we have seen wolves, caribou, bears and moose all come through our campgrounds because they are low impact to the area and they don’t have as large of a footprint as the big lodges.
Food and Accommodations
Our goal when our guest go on a trip with us is to make them fall in love with Alaska. We do this by trying to show Alaska through all of your senses and one we try to focus on is taste.
We will serve you food that is grown in Alaska. No more Mountain house or generic food from Costco that you can buy in the lower 48, enjoy the high quality food that matches with the pristine wilderness that you will be enjoying.
Accommodations, we have the most up to date tents that will keep you warm and dry from the harsh elements of the Alaska bush. The rafts are 13-16 ft rafts where up to 2 fisherman/bear viewers can sit comfortably while your guide rows you down the river.
Bookings/Deposits
A 50% deposit is required which will lock up your dates, full payment for the trip is required by May 31st of the year that you are fishing. Deposits are transferable to different dates and are partially refundable.
